The driver was burnt alive after a sudden fire broke out in a truck parked on the National Highway in Ludhiana. It is being told that the driver was sleeping in the cabin when the truck caught fire. This incident took place early Saturday morning around 3:30 am. The deceased has not been identified yet.
The truck was standing near the petrol pump
It is being told that around 11 o'clock on Friday, the truck driver parked the truck near the petrol pump on Khanna's Bija and slept inside the cabin. Then suddenly the truck caught fire early in the morning.
As soon as the truck caught fire, the petrol pump employees immediately started extinguishing it. The driver was screaming inside the cabin. An attempt was also made to take out the driver by breaking the glass. But the petrol pump workers could not succeed in this.
Death before arrival of fire brigade team
When the petrol pump employees were not successful in extinguishing the fire, they informed the fire brigade team. By the time the fire brigade team controlled the fire, the driver was burnt alive. The driver's body was completely reduced to ashes. The police sent the body to the mortuary of the civil hospital.
