Delhi Assembly elections have been announced. Voting for the assembly elections will be held in Delhi on February 5 and the election results will be declared on February 8. Election Commission Rajiv Kumar gave this information. There are a total of 70 assembly seats in Delhi and the term of the current assembly is ending on 23 February 2025.
There are 1.5 crore voters in Delhi
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that there are 1.5 crore voters in Delhi and 33 thousand voting booths have been set up for them. There are 83.49 lakh male voters and 79 lakh female voters in Delhi. Out of these, 830 voters are above the age of 100.
Last time AAP won 62 seats
Last time voting was held in the month of February in the year 2020. Voting was held on 8 January and the results were declared on 11. In which Aam Aadmi Party emerged as the largest party and won the majority by taking 62 seats. While BJP got 8 seats.
