A complete ban has been imposed on heavy vehicles going from Jalandhar towards Delhi. Government buses are going only till Rajpura. After that it is turning back.
Delhi Police Administration also imposed restrictions
Delhi Police has made it clear that protesters will not be able to enter Delhi with tractors, trolleys, buses, trucks, commercial vehicles and horses. Along with this, entry into Delhi with weapons, swords, tridents, sticks or rods has been completely banned. In view of the increasing group of farmers, restrictions have also been imposed in North East Delhi and Shahdara area. Which includes areas like Shahdara, Farsh Bazar, Gandhi Nagar, Vivek Vihar, Seemapuri.
Appealed not to go to Punjab-Haryana
The march to Delhi has started on behalf of the farmers. One lane of Ladowal toll plaza has been opened for the vehicles of farmers. As a precautionary measure, the Punjab-Haryana border has been sealed. In such a situation, the police held a necessary meeting with the officials of bus, truck and petrol pump organizations on Sunday and appealed not to go to Punjab-Haryana except for urgent work. Haryana government has stopped mobile internet, dongle and bulk SMS for 3 days in 7 districts of the state.
Tight security at Singhu Border-Tikri Border
In view of the increasing number of farmers, the police has increased security on the Delhi-Haryana borders. According to the information, on February 13, both the borders will be completely closed by barricading. According to police sources, 16 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed on Singhu Border-Tikri Border alone. More than 3 thousand soldiers are deployed around the Singhu border. Apart from cranes, JCB has been deployed at Singhu and Tikri border. Delhi Police is on high alert.
