Tarvinder Singh Raju, owner of Dips School in Jalandhar, has received death threats. This threat has been received for not paying Rs 1 crore. Tarvinder Raju has given a complaint to the police in this matter and a case has been registered against the accused Ishaan Makkar for threatening to kill.
Threatened regarding school dispute
In the complaint given to the police, Tarvinder Raju told that he was having a dispute with Ishaan Makkar regarding the school deal. Raju had complained to the Police Commissioner regarding this matter. After which the Police Commissioner handed over the investigation to ADCP Chand Singh. He went to CP office on 26th April.Raju further said in the complaint that when he started coming out of gate number 4 with his car, Ishaan was standing there with his companions and he stopped the car. After this he threatened that if he did not give crores of rupees, he would kill his family.
This thing came to light in police investigation
After investigating the matter, ADCP said that Sahibzada Ajit Singh Education Trust Chairman Gurbachan Singh made the deal of Jalalabad School with Anjana Makkar and her family through Bhupinder Singh Makkar. After this deal, power of attorney was given.
During this time, Raju's father died on 11 February 2021. Registration of 3 schools was done through power of attorney. In which two are in the name of the trust and the third in the name of the complainant's wife Preetindra Kaur.ADCP further said that Ishaan Makkar had taken his money from the deal that was made regarding the school. But despite this, he was repeatedly harassing Tarvinder Raju that he had given the school on lease. When it was investigated, no lease documents were visible.
He further told that Tarvinder Raju had given the complete details of the payment given to buy the school to the police. In this school dispute, Ishaan Makkar stopped Raju and asked him to give one crore. He had threatened to kill him if he did not give.
