President Murmu had indicated
In her address, President Draupadi Murmu had indicated to adopt a strict stance to protect the talents. The entire thrust of the proposed law is to crack down on individuals, organized mafia and institutions engaged in paper leaks, paper solving, impersonation and hacking of computer resources.
Five years jail sentence
The bill provides for a jail term of three to five years and a fine of Rs 10 lakh for leaking the paper, taking the exam in place of someone else, solving the question paper or helping in it, conducting the exam at a place other than the exam centre, not reporting irregularities in the exam.
