In Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, supporters of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) took out a protest march in front of the Indian High Commission. The police stopped this protest march midway. After which the BNP supporters asked the police to give a memorandum of demands to the Indian High Commission.
Talked about taking Bengal, Bihar and Odisha
BNP leader Rizvi said that India can harm Bangladesh at every step. It gave shelter to Sheikh Hasina because it does not like the people of Bangladesh. India cannot be friends with anyone. Sheikh Hasina ran the government in Bangladesh for 16 years only with the blessings of Delhi. If India asks for Chittagong, we will take back Bengal, Bihar and Odisha. There is a lot of communalism in India.
India benefited Bangladesh by stopping visas
Rizvi claimed that India has benefited Bangladesh by stopping visas. He said, this will make our country prosperous. Production will increase. Good work was done by closing the border. Phensedyl and Yaba (both drugs) used to come from India, but now they will not come.
Security of Indian High Commission increased
Meanwhile, tight security arrangements have been made in front of the Indian High Commission since morning. Police is also present here along with three platoons of the army. During this time, some common passengers were also stopped and questioned on suspicion.
