Will attend brother's bhog
Actually Rajoana had filed a petition for parole in the High Court. In which he had told that he wants to attend his brother's bhog. His petition was accepted by the High Court and he was allowed to be granted parole for 3 hours.
Has got parole earlier also
Let us tell you that even before this Rajoana has come out on parole. In the year 2021, when his father's bhog was there, even then Rajoana had filed an appeal and sought parole. Then the court had given him one hour parole. After this he was again put in jail.
A mercy petition has been filed for the death sentence
Rajoana has filed an application in the Supreme Court for pardon of the death sentence. On which the Supreme Court has sent this mercy petition to the President. The court has ordered the President's secretary to place it before the President. Also request him to take a decision on it within two weeks. Rajoana was sentenced to death in 1995 for the murder of the then Chief Minister of Punjab Beant Singh.
