Across the country, Amul has increased the prices of milk by about two rupees per liter from today i.e. June 3. Now the price of Amul Gold will increase from Rs 64/litre to Rs 66/litre. While the price of Amul Tea Special will increase from Rs 62 to Rs 64 per litre, toll plaza rates have also been increased. Ladowal toll plaza in Ludhiana, Punjab became costlier since last night.
The rate list issued by Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets dairy products under the 'Amul' brand, has also come to light. According to the information, GCMMF said in a statement issued late night that the increase of two rupees per litre will increase the maximum retail price by three to four percent, which is much lower than the average food inflation.
Verka rate also increased by two rupees
The price increase has been announced after the completion of the voting process of Lok Sabha elections. GCMMF said that it has not increased milk prices from February 2023. At the same time, Verka has also increased the milk rates in entire Punjab immediately after the elections are over. Verka has increased its milk packets by Rs 2. The new prices of milk will be applicable from Monday, June 3.
New rates applicable from 12 midnight, increased by 5 percent

How much will have to be paid
According to the information, the old fare of the car was Rs 215 for one way and Rs 325 for round trip and the monthly pass was Rs 7175. In the new rate, the one-way fare is Rs 220 and round trip Rs 330 and the monthly pass will be Rs 7360. Similarly, the old fare for light vehicle was Rs 350 for one way and Rs 520 for round trip and the monthly pass was Rs 11590. In the new rate, the one-way fare is Rs 355 and round trip Rs 535 and the monthly pass will be Rs 11885.
The old rate of a 2 axle bus or truck was Rs 730 for one side and Rs 1095 for the rear and the monthly pass was Rs 24285. The new rate will be Rs 745 for one way, Rs 1120 for reverse and monthly pass will be Rs 24905. The old rate for three axle vehicles was Rs 795 for one side and Rs 1190 for the rear and the monthly pass was Rs 26490. The new rate will be Rs 815 for one way and Rs 1225 for the reverse and the monthly pass will be Rs 27170.
The old rate of heavy construction machinery four axle vehicles was Rs 1140 for one side and Rs 1715 for the rear and the monthly pass was Rs 38085. The new rate will be Rs 1170 for one way and Rs 1755 for the return and the monthly pass will be Rs 39055.
For seven and more axles, the old rate will be Rs 1390 for one way, Rs 2085 for rear and the monthly new rate will be Rs 1425 for one way, Rs 2140 for return and monthly pass will be Rs 47545. Along with this, the pass rate for those living within a radius of 20 kilometres of the toll plaza has also been increased from Rs 330 to Rs 340 from June 2.
