In Amritsar, the police has taken an important step in view of the dangers caused by Chinese strings during kite flying. They have launched a campaign against it. Many important steps have also been taken under this campaign. The police have now shown strictness at every level with the aim of providing a safe environment to the people.
Drones will be used for monitoring
The police have now resorted to drone technology to keep an eye on kite flying. Kite flyers are also being identified with this. They have said that the parents of the children caught with Chinese strings will be warned. Then if they are caught again after the warning, legal action will also be taken against the parents. Apart from this, cases will also be registered against the people selling and buying Chinese strings. So far 21 people have been arrested due to this.
Many accidents have happened due to Chinese strings
Chinese string, which is also called Gattu, is made with some chemical mixtures. Its edge is very sharp due to which not only birds but also humans can get hurt. This proves to be very dangerous for everyone. It is especially dangerous for the drivers on the roads, due to which many accidents can also happen.
Legal action will also be taken
Amritsar Police has also appealed to the general public not to use Chinese string or buy it. If any person is seen buying or selling Chinese string, then the police will be informed immediately. The ACP has said that action will be taken against those flying kites with the help of China string in the urban area of Amritsar with the help of drones. The children seen in the drone will be identified and their parents will also be called to the police station and they will be warned beforehand. If this mistake is repeated, legal action will also be taken.
Police caught 21 accused
The ACP himself has informed that the children have been identified and called for questioning. Information about the sellers is being taken from the same children. Similarly, the police has registered 19 cases and caught 21 accused.
