Shahrukh Khan had received a threat a day earlier
A day before this, on Thursday, Shahrukh Khan also received a threat, which the police is investigating. A report was lodged at Bandra Police Station in Mumbai. According to media reports, this call was made by a person named Faizan from Raipur, Chhattisgarh. A team of Mumbai Police has been sent to Raipur for investigation.
Earlier, an accused who threatened Salman Khan was arrested by Mumbai Police from Haveri district of Karnataka. The accused was identified as Bikram Jalaram Bishnoi. This person had threatened to kill Salman Khan.
Ransom of Rs 2 crore was demanded
Bikram Jalaram Bishnoi claimed in the threatening message that he is the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, he has threatened to kill Salman Khan if his demands are not met. According to the information, the accused demanded a ransom of Rs 2 crore from Salman and also said that the actor will have to go to their temple and apologize.
Police arrested the accused from Karnataka
A case was registered in Mumbai Police Station on the basis of the threatening message. When the police started investigating, it was found that the threat was sent from Karnataka, after which Mumbai Police started searching for the accused with the help of local police of Karnataka and arrested him from Haveri.
