More than 50 people were burnt in an accident in Kerala on Tuesday night. This incident happened just before the start of a football match in Arikode city of Malappuram district. Where the organizers had organized a large scale fireworks before the match. Meanwhile, the firecrackers went out of control and started bursting on the spectators sitting in the stadium. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this accident, although two spectators have been badly burnt in this accident and are undergoing treatment.

Giving information, the police said that a 'Sevens' football tournament was going on in a stadium in Arikode area in Malappuram district. During this, more than 50 people were injured due to fireworks. Two of the injured were admitted to the hospital. The injuries of the other people are not serious.
Case registered against the organizers
This accident happened while lighting firecrackers just before the match. People got burnt due to the firecrackers falling among the spectators sitting near the ground. At present, a case has been registered against the organisers under sections 288 and 125 (B) of the Indian Penal Code.
