A 22-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Ablowal area of Patiala. The deceased youth has been identified as Karan. Karan was a resident of Babu Singh Colony. The incident happened late Friday evening.
The accused fled from the spot after the attack
After the incident, officials from Civil Lines and Bakshi Wala police stations reached the spot. However, by then the accused had fled from there. According to information, Karan had completed his studies this year and was looking for a job. But before that he was murdered.
There was a fight a few days ago
The deceased had a fight with some youths some time ago, due to which Karan was attacked on Friday. One of the attackers stabbed him with a knife, which hit Karan's chest and he died on the spot. Police have seized CCTV footage from the spot, in which the attacking youths are seen coming on a bike.
