A bus full of passengers going to Shivkhodi fell into a deep gorge on the National Highway (144A) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. In which 15 passengers are said to be dead and 40 people are said to be injured. The deceased have been identified as residents of Hathras (Uttar Pradesh). As soon as the news of the accident was received, relief and rescue team members reached the spot.
According to the information, 25 passengers have been evacuated safely. Everyone has been admitted to a nearby hospital. As soon as the information about the bus falling into a deep ditch was received, the entire staff of the local administration reached the spot and rescue operations have been started.
More than 60 passengers were travelling in the bus
According to the information received, this bus of Uttar Pradesh number was going from Jammu to Shivkhodi. During this time, it fell into a deep ditch at Tungi Mor in Akhnoor. There were more than 60 passengers in the bus. On the spot, SDM Akhnoor Lekh Raj, SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma, Police Station Incharge Akhnoor Tariq Ahmed are engaged in rescue operations.
