Due to landslide in Nepal, 2 buses fell into Trishuli river. There were 63 people including the driver in both the buses. It is being told that 7 Indians have died in this accident while more than 50 people have gone missing due to being swept away in the river and efforts are on to find them.
The accident happened at around 4 in the morning
It is being told that this accident happened at around 4 am in the morning on Madan-Ashrit Highway of Nepal. During the accident, two people managed to save their lives by jumping from the bus. At present, the rescue team is engaged in the search operation amidst heavy rain.
Problems are being faced in search operation
The rescue team is facing difficulties in the search operation. Because it is becoming difficult to find people amid heavy rain. The Trishuli river is also in spate, due to which divers are facing problems.
Nepal's PM expressed grief over the accident
Nepal's PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed grief over the accident. He wrote on social media, 'I am deeply saddened by the report of about 5 dozen passengers missing after the landslide washed away the bus at Narayangarh-Muglin Road station. I direct all agencies of the government to search for the passengers and rescue them safely.
