The Petrol Pump Association has postponed for the time being the decision to keep petrol pumps closed for 2 days. A meeting of the Petroleum Dealers Association was held regarding keeping petrol pumps closed. In which it was decided to postpone the strike. Earlier the association had announced to keep petrol pumps closed on 30 and 31 March.
2 to 3 rupees commission is being given
Sanjeev Chaudhary said that the commission of pump dealers has not been increased by the government oil agencies for the last 7 years. There is deep anger among all the petrol pump dealers regarding this. Several rounds of talks were held with government agencies to increase the commission, but no hearing took place.
For a long time, all petrol pump dealers have been demanding increase in oil commission from government agencies. When petrol was around Rs 65, commission of Rs 2 per liter diesel and Rs 3 per liter commission is being given on petrol. Now oil is around Rs 100, but the commission has not been increased.
Time given till 15th August
Regarding this, the government has asked for time to increase the commission till June 15. We still give time till August 15 to the Oil Ministry. Even after this, if the commission is not increased then they will go on strike.
