A bus full of passengers collided with a cement mixer truck on Jalandhar-Pathankot National Highway in Hoshiarpur. More than 16 passengers were injured in the accident. They have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Tanda. It is being said that the condition of many people is more serious and they are being referred to another hospital.
The bus was coming from Pathankot to Jalandhar
It is being said that the Punjab Roadways bus of Jagraon depot was coming from Pathankot to Jalandhar. When the bus reached near Tanda Adda Khudan in Hoshiarpur, it collided with a cement mixer. The passengers were left bleeding and there was a lot of screaming on the highway.
They were taken to the hospital with the help of SSF
The Road Safety Force (SSF) team reached the spot immediately after the accident. They immediately admitted the injured to the Civil Hospitals of Tanda and Dasuha with the help of ambulances. The condition of many passengers is serious but they are out of danger.
The accident happened due to the mistake of the bus driver
According to the bus passengers, this accident happened because of the bus driver. Because the bus driver was driving the bus at a very high speed. Seeing the cement mixer that suddenly came in front, the driver could not apply the brake. Due to which this accident happened.
