Taking action against illegal immigrants, US President Donald Trump has sent a plane from the US to India. The transport aircraft has taken off for Amritsar airport carrying illegal Indians, in which 205 people are on board and all of them have been identified. US Army aircraft C-17 will land at Amritsar airport. In which people from 6 states of India will reach Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in the afternoon.
205 Indians will return after being deported
According to the information, 11 crew members and 45 US officials will also accompany the plane coming from the US, who will return after landing the 205 Indians at Amritsar airport. Let us tell you that 104 Indians including 30 from Punjab, 33 from Gujarat, 3 from UP, 33 from Haryana, 2 from Chandigarh, 3 from Maharashtra will be present in it.
Security agencies on alert mode
Earlier the plane was reported to arrive at 8 am, however now it will arrive at 1 pm and will leave back at 4:30 pm. Security agencies at the airport are fully alert about this. Apart from checking the documents of the deported people, their entire background will be investigated.
Those with criminal records will be arrested
If any of the deported people is found to have a criminal record, he will be arrested at the airport itself. This process can take a whole day. Among these Indians deported from America, there may be some people who have committed some crime in India and left for America. Former passport officer of Amritsar JS Sodhi informed that any person who is deported does not have his passport. In such a case, the concerned Indian embassy issues them a certificate, which is taken back as soon as they land in India.
Before issuing this certificate, the Indian embassy collects complete information about the concerned person and this certificate is given only when everything is found to be correct. The former passport officer informed that even after returning to India, the local police keeps an eye on them. Their verification is done again.
There has been a 94 percent reduction in infiltration cases
After this action of Trump, there has been a 94 percent reduction in infiltration incidents. During Biden's tenure, between January 1 and January 19, an average of 2087 incidents were being reported every day on the Mexico border. Whereas after Trump became president, this figure has come down to 126 from January 20 to January 31.
