Under this, the department has also suspended the Superintendent of the examination center and the teacher who was monitoring the examination. On March 17, a flying squad was deployed during the 10th class English examination. They caught a serious irregularity. The monitoring teacher Kirandeep Kaur had taken the phone to the examination hall.

This happened due to the negligence of the superintendent as he allowed the teacher to take a mobile phone to the examination hall. After this, action has been taken against both of them on the instructions of Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. Giving his statement on this matter, the Education Minister said that the government is committed to a quality and fair education system. In such a situation, no irregularities will be tolerated during the examinations. The flying squad teams formed by the Punjab School Education Board are also keeping a constant vigil.
Suspended teachers will report to the DEO
Taking immediate action in this matter, both the teachers were suspended at that time itself. During the period of suspension, they will report to the District Education Officer of Gurdaspur where their headquarters have also been set up.
Number of flying squads should be increased
Apart from this, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has also instructed the officials to form extra teams. Apart from this, the number of flying squads should be increased so that such unfair activities can be fully monitored and examinations can be conducted in a good and fair manner. Further, the Education Minister said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is creating such an educational environment where success will be achieved only on the basis of merit. If anyone deviates from this principle, strict action will be taken against that person.
