Jalandhar Counter Intelligence Unit of Punjab has arrested three members associated with the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist organization. The accused were planning a major murder in Punjab at the behest of Babbar Khalsa International. Which has been foiled by the team of Jalandhar Counter Intelligence Unit.

The arrested accused have been identified as Jagroop Singh alias Jagga, Sukhjit Singh alias Sukha and Navpreet Singh alias Nav. Police have recovered four illegal weapons and more than 15 live cartridges from the accused. Soon the police will present the accused in the court and interrogate them on remand.

DGP Gaurav Yadav posted on X that the police has foiled another major murder plan of the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI)-backed terrorist module. Investigation has revealed that the module was being operated by US-based gangster Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Navasharia. Gopi is a close associate of Pakistan-based terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda. Along with this, his associate Ladi Bakapuria is also involved. Who currently lives in Greece.
4 sophisticated weapons recovered
At the same time, an FIR was registered in SSOC Amritsar. Further investigation is going on to dismantle the entire network. Police have recovered 4 sophisticated pistols from the accused. Which includes a Glock pistol 9mm (01 magazine and 06 cartridges), a pistol PX 5 Storm (Beretta) (01 magazine and 04 bullets), a country-made 30 bore pistol (01 magazine and 04 cartridges) and a country-made 32 bore pistol (01 magazine and 08 cartridges).
