A girl from Punjab died in Canada. The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Anu Malra. Anu was a resident of village Manki in Sangrur. The deceased had gone to Nova Scotia province of Canada for studies about 4 years ago.
Was working on work permit
Giving information, the father told that his daughter Anu had gone to Canada for studies and was now working there on work permit. But yesterday afternoon he got a call from Anu's friend and she told that Anu was not well. After some time, the call came again and it was known that Anu had died.
The family appealed to the government for help
According to the father, Anu was ill for a long time. The family has appealed to the central and state government for help. So that Anu's body can be brought to India so that they can see their daughter for the last time.
