According to the information, the court of Mansa has issued a bailable warrant against a policeman as well as 2 government witnesses in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. This action has been taken by the SIT. They have done this due to the non-appearance in the court regarding the escape of the detained gangster accused Deepak Tinu. Deepak Tinu had not recorded any of his statements in this case, after which action has been taken against him now.
Deepak Tinu was released from Mansa custody
Let us tell you that Deepak Tinu, one of the accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, escaped after being released from the custody of SIT Staff Mansa on 1 October 2022. After this, the Punjab Police arrested the sub-inspector and also dismissed him. This sub-inspector was also a member of the SIT.
Witnesses did not appear in court
After this, Deepak Tinu was arrested by Delhi Police on October 19 from Ajmer, Rajasthan with weapons. The District Court of Mansa had also framed charges against 10 people including the then in-charge of CIA Mansa and SI Preetpal Singh. Judicial Magistrate Court Karan Agarwal had said in his order that witnesses and retired Inspector Karam Singh and RTO clerk Mohammad Garg could not appear in the court.
Deepak Tinu is an associate of Lawrence Bishnoi gang
However, the court had said that all these witnesses would later be called on the next date on December 12 through a bail warrant of Rs 5,000 with one surety each. Tinu Sidhu was one of the 32 accused involved in the Moosewala murder case. According to the charge sheet, Deepak Tinu is an associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria. Apart from Punjab, 35 criminal cases including murder are registered against him in Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Delhi.
