Late night, a speeding cruise car collided with a tree in Phase 11 of Mohali. In this accident, a 28 year old youth died due to head injury. The deceased youth has been identified as Gurjant Singh (28). The young man had returned home from Canada only a year ago and was still unmarried.
Died during treatment
According to people, the car was traveling at a very high speed and due to loss of balance, it collided with a tree standing on the roadside. After this, people pulled out the car driver with great difficulty and informed the police. Police reached the spot and took the car driver to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
Used to work in property dealing
Gurjant Singh and his sisters were Canadian citizens and he had returned home from Canada a year ago and had now started doing property dealing. His last rites will be performed only after his sisters arrive from Canada. The family is in a bad state after receiving the news of their son's death.
