For this, the Commission has fixed the dates of 25, 26, 27, 28 May (four days). Before this, the Commission is getting consent forms filled by all these voters. For this, BLOs are going door-to-door and contacting disabled and elderly voters above 85 years of age. How they want to vote. If they want to vote sitting at home. So they are filling out the consent form for postal ballot and gathering information if they want to come to the polling station to vote.

The Election Commission is seeking consent from elderly and disabled voters by filling Form 12 for the postal ballot paper. Any person can download this form sitting at home and he himself or any member of his family can submit this form to the nearest Election Commission office.
Along with this, let us tell you that the Election Commission has also made a provision that when the disabled or senior citizens above 85 years of age vote through postal ballot, a team will reach the polling station. To avoid allegations of bias, the team will include a BLO, two election staff and agents of political parties.
BLO will work door to door
Along with this, BLOs will work from door to door for this entire arrangement, if the concerned elderly voter is not found at home, then a consent letter will be given to the BLO in the hand of a family member. You can fill this form and submit it to the Election Commission office. On the basis of this form, Election Commission officials will reach home and voters above 85 years of age will be able to vote.
