It is very important to convey the forgotten history to the children and Sada Naat Ghar fulfills this responsibility from time to time. On this Monday, in the 181st program of Sada Naat Ghar, a play "Saka-e-Sirhind" directed by Daljit Sona depicting the martyrdom of four Sahibzadas was presented keeping in mind the martyrdom days.
The play depicted the journey from the martyrdom of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to the martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas. Daljit Sona, Maninder Singh, Surinder Singh, Paramjit Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, Anmolpreet Kaur, Manpreet Sanyal, Prabhjot Kaur, Harmanjot Singh and Fakir Chand played various historical characters in the play. The play was well received by the audience, especially the children. All religious history knowledge was also tested through a quiz competition in which Surinder Singh Nagi and Harmanpreet Singh won prizes.
Jasleen Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Harmanpreet Singh and Surinder Singh Nagi participated in the program through religious words. At the end, refreshments were served to all and prizes were also given to the children. On next Monday, on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the evergreen singer Mohammad Rafi, a play "Fiko" written and directed by Daljit Sona based on his life and on the 30th, the play "Saaka-e-Sirhind" will be presented again.
