The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate illegal activities against former Youth Congress President Angad Dutta in Jalandhar. Now the next hearing of this case will be held on 6 February 2025 after the CBI report. At the same time, Angat Dutta's statement has also come out regarding this. He said that I am happy to inform that the High Court has given orders.
He said that this is a big step towards exposing the truth and justice. Your support during this time means a lot to me, and I am confident that the CBI will bring clarity in this matter.
Angad Dutta raised questions on police action
Angad Dutta had raised questions on the action of the police. He had said that the police got information about this at 7.30 pm. But raided his house at around 5 pm. If the police got the complaint at 7.30 pm, then how could they raid my house two and a half hours earlier. Due to which questions are being raised on this action of the police.
Police came to terrorize, not raid
Angad Dutta said that Jalandhar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Toor ordered to send about 50 officers including two SHOs, one ACP and one ADCP to conduct the raid. This number of officers sent to my house was not just to scare me but it was an attempt to terrorize me and disrupt my business.
Running business became difficult due to police
Dutta also says that the police not only conducted an illegal raid but also sealed his office. Due to which it became difficult to run his family business. They are trying to close my work on the pretext of law. When the police raided my office, what was their role in it, it must be investigated.
CBI got 3 months time
Angad Dutta further said that now CBI has got 3 months time from the High Court. The High Court will hear the case only after the CBI report comes out. CBI will investigate this entire matter thoroughly and will also investigate what role police officer Gurpreet Toor has in it.
