The weather is going to change once again in Punjab from today. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is likely at some places till March 15, while thunderstorms and lightning are likely at some places on March 13 and 14. This situation is arising due to active Western Disturbance.
Possibility of rain in 9 districts
Today, cloudy weather and light rain are likely in 9 districts of the state. However, no change in temperature will be seen. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is likely at some places in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Nawanshahr, Jalandhar, Tarn Taran, Amritsar and Ferozepur districts today. However, no warning of any kind has been issued.
Possibility of rain in 13 districts
Along with this, a yellow alert has been issued for Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana on March 13-14 regarding the cyclone. Apart from this, there will be a yellow alert regarding rain in Pathankot, Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur on March 13. Whereas on March 14, there is a possibility of rain in 13 districts of Punjab.
