Keeping this in mind, the timing of schools in Chandigarh has been changed. Now the schools will open as per the old schedule.

This will be the timing

In Chandigarh, children will have to reach school at 8:20 in the morning and will leave at 2:20. Teachers will have to reach school by 8 am. They will have to remain in school till 2:30 in the afternoon. Children studying in double shift will have to leave at 1:15 pm and the timing of children in the second shift will be from 12:45 to 5 pm.

Cold reduced due to Western Disturbance

Western Disturbance has become active in Punjab. Due to which the cold has reduced. However, cold is still felt in the morning and at night. But the sun remains shining during the afternoon, which has given relief to the people. However, the Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave alert in some areas of Punjab.
