After the change in weather due to the activation of Western Disturbance, rain warning is still issued in Punjab today. Orange alert has been issued for rain in 9 districts of Punjab and Yellow alert in 9 districts.

Yellow alert issued in 9 districts and Orange alert in 9

According to the Meteorological Department, Orange alert has been issued for Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Nawanshahr, SAS Nagar and Rupnagar today. Yellow alert for rain has been issued in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Moga, Ludhiana, Barnala, Sangrur, Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib.

Possibility of light rain in some areas
