In the case of assault on the Colonel and his son in Patiala, the police has suspended 12 policemen. SSP Nanak Singh has ordered an inquiry against all the policemen in this case. Actually, this entire dispute was about parking, after which there was a fight.

SSP apologized to the Colonel

Patiala SSP Nanak Singh said that we have ordered a departmental inquiry against the policemen in the case, it will be completed within 45 days. We apologize to the army officer for this incident. We fully respect the army.

Know what is the whole matter

Actually, there was a dispute about car parking near the dhaba near Rajindra Hospital. Regarding which the Colonel’s wife had lodged a complaint with the police. In which she told that her husband Pushpinder Singh Bath and son Angad Singh were brutally beaten by about 10 policemen including Inspector Harjinder Singh Dhillon, Inspector Harry Boparai and Inspector Roni Singh with sticks, baseball bats and sharp weapons.

She further said that during this incident, her husband suffered serious head injuries and his left hand was also broken. While son Angad also suffered a deep wound on his head and both were admitted to the hospital on March 14. Even after providing evidence, no strict action is being taken by the police in this case. After this complaint, all the policemen involved in the case have been suspended.
