Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji will be celebrated on February 12 and a procession will be taken out in the city by various religious organizations on February 11.

The DC said that orders have been issued to maintain law and order during this time keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the people. During the said event in Jalandhar, the sale of meat and liquor has been banned on February 11 and 12 near the procession route and religious ceremony site.
