Another holiday has been announced in Punjab next week. According to a notification issued by the Personnel Department of the Punjab Government, a holiday has been declared on Tuesday, January 14 in Sri Muktsar Sahib district of Punjab in view of the Maghi fair.
Meanwhile, a local holiday has been declared in all government offices, boards/corporations and educational institutions of Sri Muktsar Sahib. This holiday will be applicable only in Sri Muktsar Sahib.
Chief Secretary of Punjab gave information
Information in this regard has been given by Chief Secretary of Punjab Government K.A.P Sinha. He said that copies of the notification have been sent to all the Chief Secretaries, Additional Chief Secretaries, Financial Commissioners, Principal Secretaries and Administrative Secretaries of the state of Punjab for information and action. Apart from this, this information has also been given to the heads of group departments, divisional commissioners, registrar of Punjab and Haryana High Court, deputy commissioners and sub-divisional magistrates.
