After which the police, the State Cyber Crime, after investigating the case, arrested the accused. The accused has been identified as Gaurav Kumar. Hearing was going on in the High Court regarding illegal mining in Punjab. During this hearing, the mining department said that strict steps have been taken regarding illegal mining. But some people prepared a fake website of mining. From there, permits for illegal mining started being issued.
The website was created under planning
After the hearing, a case was registered in the State Cyber Cell regarding this. After which this case has been registered. After this, when the State Cyber Cell started investigating this matter, it was revealed that this was done completely with planning. By doing this, the people involved in this gang have caused a loss of 50 lakhs from the state revenue.
