A blast took place at JK Cement in Panna, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday morning. The roof under construction collapsed due to the blast. 5 people have died after being buried under the debris in this accident. While more than 30 people are said to be seriously injured. The administration is busy in rescue operations.
ASP Aarti Singh said that rescue operations are being carried out. Many injured workers have been referred to the nearby Katni District Hospital. Efforts are being made to rescue many workers buried under the debris. In view of safety, entry inside the factory has been completely stopped. Police and administration teams are busy in evacuating the workers trapped under the debris.
