The BJP government of Delhi has approved the Mahila Samridhi Yojana. Under this scheme, women living in Delhi will be given Rs 2500 in their bank accounts every month. For this, the Rekha Gupta government has kept a budget of Rs 5100 crore. This decision has been approved in the cabinet meeting. Now registration for this scheme is going to start soon.

Not taking advantage of government schemes

Women living in Delhi for more than 5 years

Those earning less than 3 lakhs

Special portal will be launched for registration

To avail the benefits of Mahila Samridhi Yojana, it is necessary for women to do e-registration. For this, the government will launch a special portal and mobile app on March 8 where women will be able to apply by submitting their necessary documents, such as voter card, BPL card, Aadhaar card and income certificate.

20 lakh women will benefit

20 lakh women will benefit from this government scheme in Delhi. Out of these, only 50 percent women vote in Delhi. Officials said that the government is collecting data from different departments to identify women beneficiaries.
