A terrible road accident has happened in the American country Guatemala. A bus full of passengers fell off the bridge here. Due to which more than 50 people died. Some people are also reported to be injured, who are currently undergoing treatment. There is a wave of mourning in the whole country after this accident.

Accident caused by multi-vehicle collision

This is the biggest road accident in Guatemala so far. Children and old people were also involved in this accident. Pictures of the accident have also surfaced. In which the bus is seen half submerged in dirty water. Local officials said that this accident happened due to multi-vehicle collision, that is, many vehicles collided together. Due to which this whole accident happened.

The bus was 30 years old

According to the same media report, the bus driver lost control of the bus. Due to which the bus first collided with several vehicles and finally fell into a ditch about 65 feet deep. Investigation revealed that the bus was 30 years old, but it still had a license to operate.

After the incident, President Bernardo Arevalo expressed condolences to the dead. Along with this, a day of national mourning has also been declared.
