A massive fire broke out in the first building of IBM Tour & Travels Overseas Manpower Consulatants located near the police station in Jalandhar. All the goods were burnt to ashes in this fire. The flames were visible from a distance.
Two fire brigade vehicles brought the fire under control
The local people have informed the fire department about the incident. Due to the fire being intense, two fire brigade vehicles reached the spot to control the fire. Fortunately, important documents were saved from getting caught in the fire in this incident. However, the cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
At present, the cause of the fire seems to be a short circuit. Still, the fire brigade teams are investigating the matter. Further action will be taken in the matter after investigation. The building owner Harvinder Singh said that at present the cause of the fire has not been ascertained. Along with the fire brigade team, the people around also helped a lot and after about one and a half hours the fire was brought under control. The important documents that he had in the incident have not suffered any damage.
