Know about Delhi's new CM Atishi
Atishi was born on 8 June 1981. Both her parents have been professors at Delhi University (Atishi Mother Father). Father's name is Vijay Singh and mother's name is Tripta Singh. Atish used to write her full name as 'Atishi Marlena' earlier. According to reports, her father was influenced by Marx and Lenin and added 'Marlena' to his daughter's name by combining both.
But Atishi removed Marlena from her name before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, so that the confusion that she is a Christian does not spread. The opposition was making this an issue. Atishi's husband's name is Praveen Singh. Praveen is a researcher and educator. He is associated with institutions like Sadbhavna Institute of Public Policy.
