A massive fire broke out in a thread factory on Batala Road in Amritsar late at night. 15 fire brigade vehicles were called to the spot to extinguish the fire, only then the fire could be controlled. Goods worth crores of rupees were burnt to ashes in the factory due to the fire.
Fire caused due to short circuit
The factory owner said that a massive fire broke out last night due to short circuit. Due to which the entire factory was burnt to ashes and goods worth crores of rupees lying inside were burnt. Information about the incident has been given to the police and the police is investigating the matter.
No loss of life in the accident
The factory owner further said that there was no one in the factory at the time the fire broke out. After the fire broke out, I got information about this incident and I immediately reached the spot. The fire had engulfed the entire factory. The fire brigade team controlled the fire after a lot of effort.
