The whole of Punjab is in the grip of fog and cold. Due to which 5 major accidents took place in different cities of the state today. In these accidents, 3 people including a woman lost their lives. While many people are injured in the accidents who have been admitted to the hospital. All these accidents are happening due to fog.

Accident of 2 buses going to the farmers’ movement

On Saturday, 2 buses full of farmers crashed in Punjab, in which 3 women died. While, more than 30 people are injured. Both these accidents happened separately. In these, one bus was going to the hunger strike of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal at Khanauri border.

People were going to attend the Mahapanchayat of the United Kisan Morcha organized in Tohana, Haryana by the second bus. After the accident, all the injured and the dead have been taken to the Civil Hospital in Barnala.

Canter hit the bike, young man died

Due to fog in Moga, a speeding canter hit a bike, in which a young man riding the bike died on the spot. While his brother is seriously injured. He has been admitted to the government hospital in Moga. The SSF team reached the spot. The canter driver fled leaving the canter. The police took the canter into custody.

A truck loaded with jaggery fell on a car

In Amritsar, a truck loaded with jaggery met with an accident early in the morning. Fortunately, no one was killed but a car and a transformer were badly damaged. After this, the truck went ahead and fell on a car, due to which the car was badly damaged.

Air Force jawan’s car collided with a truck

Meanwhile, due to heavy fog in Gurdaspur, the car of an Air Force soldier collided with a truck on Jammu-Amritsar National Highway Aujla bypass. The soldier’s wife was injured in the accident. She has been admitted to the Civil Hospital of Gurdaspur for treatment.
