In Budget 2025, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has given a big relief to the people by making medicines for 36 serious diseases cheaper. No duty tax will be imposed on these medicines. Due to which there will be less impact on the pocket of the common people and they will be able to get themselves treated well.
The Finance Minister made this announcement
Duty tax will be completely abolished on 36 life saving medicines.
Cancer day care centers will be set up in all government hospitals.
Medicines for cancer treatment will be cheaper.
Custom duty on 6 life saving medicines will be reduced to 5%.
