The US military aircraft landed at Amritsar International Airport on Tuesday with 104 Indians. This included 31 people from Punjab, 35 from Haryana, 33 from Gujarat, 3 from UP and 2 from Maharashtra. Now the Aam Aadmi Party has raised objections to this and said that when there were people from the whole country in the plane, why was it landed only in Punjab.

The central government has been discriminating against Punjab

Punjab minister and AAP Punjab chief Aman Arora said that the central government has always been discriminating against Punjab. By landing the plane in Amritsar, an attempt is being made to tarnish the image of Punjabis. If this plane had landed in Delhi or any other airport, the Center would have had to face embarrassment.

The image of the state is being tarnished

He further said that the central government claims to have good relations with America. By choosing Amritsar airport, an attempt is being made to give the message that the people of Punjab are mainly involved in illegal immigration, due to which the image of the state is being damaged.

Conspiracy to defame Punjab

Arora also alleged that the central government is trying to create a negative narrative against Punjab. This is not just a matter of landing the plane, but there is a big conspiracy behind it, in which an attempt is being made to defame Punjab. If the government’s intentions were clear, this plane could have landed in Delhi, Mumbai or any other major airport.
