Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in the country has made digital payments extremely easy. From small shopkeepers to big merchants, people are increasingly using UPI. Now UPI payments are expanding in many other countries besides India. Meanwhile, the country’s largest private bank HDFC Bank has shared an important information regarding UPI transactions.

HDFC Bank has issued an alert for its millions of customers. The bank has said that due to system maintenance, UPI service will not work for a few hours on February 8, 2025. The bank said that UPI services will not work from 12:00 AM to 3:00 AM on February 8. During this time, bank customers will not be able to send money to anyone through UPI.

UPI payments will not be available even with RuPay Credit Card

According to the bank, during this downtime period, financial and non-financial UPI transactions will not be available through HDFC Bank current and savings accounts as well as RuPay Credit Card.
