The round of transfers is continuing in Punjab. The Punjab government has made a major administrative reshuffle on Monday. The government has issued orders for the transfer of eight IAS officers including six Deputy Commissioners. The officers who have been transferred include IAS officer Vineet Kumar Deputy Commissioner Faridkot, Poonamdeep Kaur Deputy Commissioner Barnala, Komal Mittal Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur, Ashika Jain Deputy Commissioner S.A.S. Nagar and the following officers.

Komal Mittal has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Mohali. Accordingly, she will replace Ashika Jain, who has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Hoshiarpur. Poonamdeep Kaur will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Faridkot, while T. Benith has been given the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Barnala.

While Ankurjit Singh has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Nawanshahr and Viraj Shyamkarn Tidke has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Malerkotla. Faridkot Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar has been appointed as the Managing Director of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation. Parminder Pal Singh will be the new Commissioner of Mohali Municipal Corporation.
