There are reports of long power outage in Amritsar, Punjab today. It is being told that due to necessary repairs, all 11 KV feeders from 132 KV Hakima will remain closed from 10 am to 5 pm, due to which all 11 KV feeders of Gurbakhsh Nagar, Akhara Kallu, Katra Mohar Singh, Tunda Talab, Lahori Gate, Dhaba Basti Ram, Jhabal Road, Bhagata Wala, Dhaba Teli, Peer Shah Road, Disposal, Namak Mandi, Side Bhathia will remain closed. Let us tell you that earlier Powercom East Division Executive Jaspal Singh said that to provide relief from power cuts in summer and to ensure smooth power supply, Powercom is installing new transformers to increase the capacity of transformers at various places in the city. Under this scheme, the work of Babarik Chowk Substation, Leather Complex Substation and Urban State Substation has already been completed.
