The weather in Punjab continues to change. Meanwhile, now according to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is likely to increase by 4 degrees in the next 3 days. In the coming days, the temperature will cross 30 degrees in most cities. While a new Western Disturbance has become active from March 9. Due to which some relief is expected.

Possibility of rain on March 12 – 13

This may cause snowfall in the upper areas of Himachal Pradesh and there is also a possibility of rain. The effect of these western disturbances is visible in the plains of Punjab from March 12. It is estimated that there may be light rain in the plains of Punjab on March 12 and 13. However, no alert has been issued for these days.

Temperature crosses 30 degrees in Faridkot

It has been sunny every day in Punjab for the last three days. There is a possibility of sunshine in the next 4 days as well. Due to which the temperature is continuously rising. The maximum temperature in the state increased by 0.8 degrees Celsius, however it was still 1.6 degrees Celsius above normal. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 31.1 degrees Celsius in Faridkot and 29.3 degrees Celsius in Abohar.
