The Punjab government sent a batch of 36 school principals to Singapore for teacher training. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself flagged off the teachers going for training. All the principals will take training in Singapore from March 9 to March 15 under a special program.

Now is not the time to learn by rote

Before sending off the teachers, CM Mann said that now is not the time to just learn by rote. Now is the time to promote practical knowledge. Major changes are being made in the education sector so that world class education can be provided to the students.

Principals have gone for training earlier also

Let us tell you that earlier in July 2023, the first batch of 72 principals was sent to Singapore for training. During the training, the principals will be made aware of the modern education methods being adopted abroad. After the training, these principals will share their experiences with the students and associate teachers, so that the modern education system can be further strengthened in the schools.
