Both the athletes will tie the knot on March 21 at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Model Town, Jalandhar. After the wedding, there will be a reception party on March 22, in which many people from players to police officers and politicians will attend.

Mandeep is a great player

Born in Jalandhar, Mandeep Singh is a forward player of the Indian men’s hockey team. He played an important role in helping India win the bronze medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and the gold medal at the 2023 Asian Games. She also participated in the Hockey India League and won the upcoming player of the tournament award in 2013.

Born in Hisar, Haryana, Udita is a defender for the Indian women’s hockey team. She was initially a handball player but later switched to hockey and made her senior debut in 2017. She won silver at the 2018 Asian Games, bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and gold at the 2023 Asian Champions Trophy. She played a key role in India’s historic fourth-place finish at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. In 2024, she became the highest-paid player in the Women’s Hockey India League auction.
