The police has achieved great success in the grenade attack case on the house of former BJP minister Manoranjan Kalia. According to sources, the task force team has arrested 2 suspects. Along with this, the police has also recovered the e-rickshaw used in the attack.
This is the reason for the attack
According to sources, the mastermind of the attack on Manoranjan Kalia’s house is Zeeshan Akhtar. Zeeshan Akhtar is a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi and he also got Congress leader Baba Siddiqui murdered in Mumbai. He is also wanted in this case and the police are looking for him.
ISI’s hand behind the attack
Sources also say that this attack was done in an attempt to spoil the religious brotherhood in Punjab. At the same time, Pakistani intelligence agency ISI is also being said to be behind this. The police is also investigating the link of Pakistan-based Khalistani terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda and gangster Happy Pasia. However, no official statement has come from any police officer on this.
The incident happened at 2 am
It can be seen in the CCTV footage that first the attackers do a recce of Manoranjan Kalia’s house. Then at around 2:03 am, they throw a grenade and run away. During this, a loud explosion takes place and sparks also come out. This explosion has caused a lot of destruction in the courtyard of the former minister’s house. However, no one has been injured.
